Sarah Bryant

As someone who is committed to public service work and who understands the financial concerns that often accompany an interest in public service, I will work diligently with TLF in their fund-raising efforts and in the promotion of student involvement in public interest law. By assisting as many students as possible to participate in public service internships over the summer, we can better our communities and our society, and distinguish UT as a law school that creates altruistic and conscientious attorneys.

Brent Cockerham

TLF is a crazy awesome organization that deserves all our support. I’ll work hard to help make this its most successful year yet.

Nathan Miller-Rider

I’m interested in public service, and I have some experience doing fund-raising for various causes.

Daniel Smith

I believe it is very important that lawyers contribute to the public good. Fellowships allow students to take advantage of opportunities that would they may not be able to do because of a lack of funds.

Allison Wilbanks

I am outgoing, organized, and responsible. At Trinity University I was the Rush Chair for my sorority and I was the Editor-in-Chief of the Trinity Yearbook. Both positions required me to have excellent time management and organize multiple events for a multitude of people. In addition to organizing the events, I had to find ways to make them fun and encourage participation from everyone involved. I think the skills I learned in those positions make me a great choice for a TLF 1L Rep!

Section 3
Marie Delahoussaye

Many law students intend to pursue public service, but are discouraged by immediate financial concerns. A summer job decision can affect a lifetime career, as well as the many lives affected by that career.

There are many ways that service-minded students can turn their passions into satisfying careers that make meaningful contributions to justice, and immediate practical considerations should not stand in the way.

I am committed to helping students pursue the opportunities that will develop their ideals into careers.

Stephanie Trinh

I want a career in public service, but I, like others in my situation, also worry about financial restraints. Texas Law Fellowships is a great organization that allows students to pursue unpaid internships and still be able to pay rent and eat. I believe in TLF’s cause and would like the opportunity to encourage others to help their needy classmates help the needy.
